WEB LINKS

There are many sites which already have excellent collections of website links, and which employ webmasters/mistresses who spend time maintaining them.

This list contains ones which are unlikely to change address too often, and are particularly for language association connections.  Let us know if you have any recommended links or to report broken links by clicking here

LANGUAGE ORGANISATIONS

The Association for Language Learning - We recommend all language teachers join this association

The Essex and East Anglian ALL branch has their website here.

They have their committee meetings in this nice looking Inn.

We shall be pinching ideas from their site!

CILT, the National Centre for Languages is the Government's recognised centre for expertise in languages and supports language teachers through training, events, publications and much more. ALL has a strategic alliance with CILT, working together in a number of areas.

The National Advisory Centre on Early Language Learning.  A brilliant site for keeping us up to date with policies and resources related to MFL in primaries.

The Goethe Institute.  An extremely good friend of ALL, and especially generous to our branch in hosting our annual AGMs free of charge!

The Italian Cultural Institute is the official Italian government agency for the promotion of cultural exchanges between Great Britain and Italy.

Description:

We are an educational publisher based in Kent, specialising in textbooks for children aged 7-16. We currently publish courses in Maths, Science, English, French, Latin, Spanish and History. We rely on traditional, well-proven methods of teaching and our books are rigorously checked by teachers and examiners before going to press. The guiding principle of all our books is that they can be used by a pupil working alone and are thus ideal for both classroom and home use.
