Detail

The ALL London Branch was proud to host this free webinar on behalf of ALL nationally.  In this session, David Shanks (@HFLanguages) focuses on advice and practical tips for preparing for your NQT year (especially in the current lockdown circumstance) , making the most of your NQT year and becoming an outstanding MFL practitioner.  There was also the chance in the follow-up Q&A to have  MFL questions answered be they on Target Language, managing marking, pedagogy, work-life balance or anything MFL-related!

This year offers its own particular challenges, and so David addresses this, including covering the following elements:

  • getting experience/evidence for QTS
  • tips for online teaching
  • online interviews

Participants contacted us in advance with questions which you they wanted David to answer, and asked them ‘live’ during the online sessions.
